  Susan Skow (farm owner) has been breeding horses for over 40 years and Arabian horses for over 30 years.

  From the beginning there have been spotted horses in the equation. The first horse was a black & white Pinto mare. The farm now stands 2 stallions at stud: Purebred Arabian, TSS Az Malik and Pinto Homozygous American Saddlebred, SS Painted Intimidator (pictured at left). These Stallions were both bred by Susan Skow at this farm.

  SS Painted Intimidator is a Homozygous Pinto & Black (only sires Black/White, Bay/White) American Saddlebred Stallion sired by The Color Of Fame.

"Ernie" is siring exceptional Halter horses that will do Performance. He already has a National Champion to his credit, it won't be his last!

Deb & Kevin Lange got a Pinto filly (their Iowa Gold Star Auction entry) on April 2-- photos coming soon --reports are that she is nice and has a very dished head. Dam : GL Justa LadyHawk (Bey Hawkeye x HL Muskatelle (*Muscat).

My boarding customer ** Amanda Stitz *** had a beautiful Pinto filly at 3:15 AM April 3 *** Amanda's mare is a registered Quarter Horse and that is not a common cross (Saddlebred) but she got a very nice filly-- it is big and it is nice marked and it really is a good looking filly -- Stock type (I am sure) and probably will make a pleasure Horse. Will be registered Pinto Stock type.

OO Ive Been Spotted is the most winning son of SS Painted Intimidator to date and he was lost in 2008 due to complications to Colic Surgery He was an outstanding show horse with a National Championship in Halter and also wins Under saddle. He was from the very first foal crop ----born in June 2001----- he will be greatly miss by all of us and especially his owner Maryla Miller-Feldheim and Her husband Zak. Maryla purchased this wonderful gelding from me when he was a yearling in 2002--------- he was a great show horse!!!!!!!!!!!!! Breeder was Rodney Zimmerman in Minnesota.

This call went yesterday -- Saturday and the competition was top orf the line so we were so pleased it is ZA Always A Lady ( SS Painted Intimidator x Ritz Romance SF) Troy Peterson rode her to the Top-10 -- She also was 2007 Top- 10 at Canada -- and she won the Open at Scottsdale so she had a wonderful year -- I am so happy for owner Rose and Troy and My Stallion "Ernie". I did go out and give Ernie a big hug!!!!
